VIII° Argentine Women’s Polo Open – Day 2

At the Alfredo Lalor Venue that the AAP has in Pilar, the second qualifying date of the VIII° Argentine Women’s Polo Open presented by Caviahue was played on Thursday 11/28, which is led by four teams of between 27 and 36 goals of FEM handicaps, made up of the best players from Argentina, the United States, France and England.

In the first match of the day, El Overo Z7 UAE got its second win in the tournament after beating La Dolfina, 11-9; while then, La Hache Thai Polo defeated Chapa Uno Finca La Rosina by 10 to 8.

With these results, El Overo is approaching the grand final of the tournament, while Chapa Uno, with two defeats in as many presentations, was eliminated and will have to play the final for the Subsidiary Cup.

The third and final day of the tournament is scheduled for Monday 2/12, while the grand final of the tournament will be played on court 2 of the Argentine Polo Field in Palermo, on Saturday 7/12, as a prelude to the decisive match of the 131st HSBC Argentine Polo Open.

Chapa Uno Finca La Rosina: Sol López Llames 7 (Received a red card in the fourth chukker and was replaced by Pearl Venot 0), Annabel McNaught-Davis 4, Elena Venot 7 (4, three penalties) and Isabelle Parsons 9 (4). Total: 27.
