Young England to play Young Commonwealth for Diamond Jubilee Trophy

The Young England team, so impressive against Australia last month, will be in action again on Audi International Day on Sunday 22 July. The only change in this winning line-up, sponsored by The Financial Times’ How To Spend It.Com, will be five-goaler Max Routledge. He will be playing in place of Lanto Sheridan.
The opposition on Audi International Day is equally impressive; a tough Audi Prince of Wales team featuring many leading players from around the Commonwealth. With such talent on the field, this match will be fast paced, with all the teams looking to impress patrons for the 2013 season.
The winners of this game will also be making history as they will receive the Diamond Jubilee Trophy from HRH Prince Philip. The Hurlingham Polo Association commissioned a new trophy in honour of HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee – an appropriate tribute to one of the sport’s most ardent supporters.
The Diamond Jubilee Trophy is one of two games that is being played on this day. The afternoon will see the Audi England team take to the field at 1500hrs to play Equus & Co South Africa for the impressive Coronation Cup. Once again captained by Luke Tomlinson, England is looking for its third successive win in this showcase game.
