130th Argentine Open

On Tuesday 31/10, at the Alfredo Lalor Venue in Pilar, the world’s top competition of our sport will begin: the 130th HSBC Argentine Polo Open, which this time will be starred by the 10 best teams in the world, who boast between 28 and 40 goals of handicap, who were placed in two zones of five that will face the American, with a finish between the best in each group.

On the opening day, for Zone A, the only team that played the two finals of Triple Crown 14, La Hache La Roca, vs. La Esquina La Mascota, one of the teams coming from the classification; and from 00.2 p.m., in the 2023st, Cría La Dolfina vs. The Axe Breeds & Polo.


On that same opening day, in the interval between the two matches, the Argentine Polo Association will pay tribute to two greats: Juan Carlos Harriott Jr. and Francisco E. Dorignac, naming fields 1 and 2 of Pilar, respectively, after them.

A well-deserved tribute to “JuanCarlitos”, the top winner of the Argentine Polo Open, with 20 victories; and for “Frankie”, three-time champion in Palermo and one of the best presidents that the AAP had in its history.


Meanwhile, on Wednesday 1/10, also in Pilar, the second date will take place, in which they will face at 14:00 p.m. on court 2, Ellerstina Yellow Rose vs. the remaining team that comes from the “qualy”, El Overo Z7 UAE; and at 16:30 p.m., on La 1, La Ensenada Brubank vs. The Irenita Clinova.

Except for matchday 3 (Saturday 4/11) which will be played earlier (11.30, Court 2 and 14.00, Court 1), all the remaining days (Sunday 5, Saturday 11, Sunday 12, Friday 17, Saturday 18, Saturday 25 and Sunday 26/11) will have matches at 14.00 (Court 2) and 16.30 (Court 1).

The final will be played on the mythical Court 1 in Palermo, on Saturday 2/12, at 16.30 pm.
