COWDRAY WIN AT LA AGUADA POLO CLUB
Lila Pearson’s Cowdray Polo Team beat Irongate by a narrow 8-7 and took the I La Aguada Cowdray Cup, that took place at La Aguada Polo Club, in Open Door, Argentina.
The successful first edition of the 16-goal contest featured members of Cowdray Park Polo Club, as well as the club’s Polo Manager, Mr. Chris Bethel in attendance. This tournament marks the consolidation of a strong partnership between La Aguada Polo Club and the prestigious Cowdray Park Polo Club, one of the most important polo clubs in England and Europe.
In the last qualifying round, that was held on Thursday November 14, Cowdray lost to Ziani 10-9, while Irongate defeated Revolution 6-5. Despite the loss, Cowdray already had a spot in the final.
In the Subsidiary final, Revolution and Ziani tied 6-6.
